Thrift Store Lovelies!

Some of the lovely (and useful) things I’ve picked up recently at my local thrift shops!

Vintage sewing notions:

Vintage notions from my favourite thrift shop.

A sparkly button!

Lovely linings and vintage fabrics:

A pile of linings.

Patterned lining fabrics.

Love this fabric with commas (or apostrophes) on it! I’d love to make a secretary blouse from it but it’s a little sheer and also a little too close to my skin tone to be flattering…

Vintage rayon crepe (?) – needs some TLC but enough here to make a blouse perhaps…

1960s polyester print.

This crazy 1960s print would be great as a mod shift dress or a mini skirt with big buttons.

Vintage patterns for girls and dolls:

Simplicity 7511(1967) and 8129 (1968)

Simplicity 4413 (1950s) and Butterick 2651(1963)

A full wardrobe for Barbie! (1962)

Butterick 9993 (early 1960s)

McCall’s 7428 (1964)

Hope you enjoyed my recent finds!

Love Heather
