Weekend Finds!

I promise very soon to update with more actual project realted posts, but for now here are some lovely items I picked up  at garage sales this weekend.

The first real score of the day was this UNOPENED in the box 3 tier stand. The woman selling it said she got it as a wedding shower gift and never used it. A Steal for $5!

Next was a book of stories for girls from the 1930s. I want to scan some of the illustrations for using in projects! Only 25 cents!

Lots of stops later, a real super score: Vintage sewing patterns in a box marked FREE.

Simplicity 9029 (1970) and 6936 (1966)

1960s 2 Piece Dresses: Simplicity 4255 and 4473

1970s Patterns: Butterick 3157, Simplicity 5446

Late 1950s/Early 1960s Dress Patterns: McCall’s 4442, 5723 and 7482.

Also part of this haul was Butterick 8420, but unfortunately missing the front of it’s envelope. there was a corner intact and it looked promising so I added it to the pile! Here’s what it was:

Later we hit a small town thrift shop and I got these:

1960s patterns for dresses and tops: Simplicity 4003, 5288 and 8594. Butterick 3286.

Overall a pretty good haul for a day trip out of town. I still have to check patterns for completeness but that will have to wait!

Hope you enjoyed snooping at my vintage goodies!

Love Heather
