Thrift Store Lovelies II

Another quick post to share some fun finds!

March Thrift store finds!

The shoulder pads are hard to date – the woman on the front looks like she’s from the 1940s, but often packaging remains constant – still interesting though. Wide belting – I seem to be collecting this stuff. It’s something hard to find/expensive new, and one day I’ll make those self cover belts to match a dress. Two lovely belt buckles in original vintage packaging – Lady Fashion and Fashion Tone.

And of course more buttons. A set of matching red shank buttons and 2 cute turquoise ones. The latter perhaps on blouse sleeves? I need to document my vintage button and notions collection – especially the whimsical cards they come on.
